Hello Parents and athletes. My name is Barry Terrill and I am the new AD at MA and MJHS. As we get ready to start fall sports please don't hesitate to email me any questions that you have. 8th Graders and Families, I have emailed 8th grade yearbook photos taken by Mrs. Hanington this fall and last assembly photos to the 8th grader's school email accounts. I also shared the 8th grade slideshow to their emails last week. Due to being stored in drive, they are only accessible from an RSU 67 email account. Please feel free to have your student log in to their email and download it.

We are experiencing internet issues today throughout the district. MJHS teachers and students have intermittent access. If remote students aren't being let in to a zoom, it is very possible that their teacher does not have internet to zoom with them and also can't email them. Please call us to let us know if your remote student is having problems zooming.

Band students please bring your instruments on Wednesday, June 9th. You have rehearsals for your concert in the morning.

June 11th Covid Vaccine Clinic UPDATE: We are now able to accommodate requests for a first dose at the June 11th clinic. If you have a first dose on June 11th, you will need to schedule a second dose with PCHC by calling 207-355-5066. You will also need to complete a form. Students who received their first dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine are scheduled to receive their second dose this Friday morning, June 11th, but a new form must be completed by the parent. Please contact Jess McKechnie at 794-8935 or Jeri Davis at 794-6711 with questions.

Due to the continued predicted high temperatures all schools in R S U # 67 will have an early release day on Tuesday, June 8th. Students in 4-6 will be dismissed at 11:00 and students in grades 7-8 will be dismissed at 12:00. Thank you for your understanding at this late moment change.

The ice cream socials scheduled for tonight, Monday, June 7th have been rescheduled. The a boys baseball team will hold their social on Wednesday, JUNE 9th from 3:30-4:00, the A softball team will hold their social on Thursday, June 10th, from 3:30 to 4:00

MJHS student laptops will be collected as follows: In-person learners will need to turn in their laptops before leaving on Friday, June 11th. This includes the charger, case, mouse, and any other technology issued to them by the school. Please make sure your child brings any of these things from home. Remote learner laptop and hotspot return will be on Tuesday, June 15th between 7:00am and 8:00am, 8:30am and 10:00am, or on Wednesday (6/16) or Thursday (6/17) between 7:00am and 3:00pm. Thank you!

Monday, June 7th, is expected to be a record-breaking hot day. Please make sure your students dress appropriately to stay cool, bring sunscreen for recess and outside mask breaks, and bring a refillable water bottle. We will postpone our music concert to Wednesday, which was originally our rain date, due to the heat.

The 8th grade teachers would love to share information about the progress your 8th grade student has made this year. We are offering "exit conferences" on Tuesday June 1 and Wednesday June 2. Your 8th grader will be bringing home a sign-up sheet for you to look at. Your "conference" can be an email, phone call or zoom meeting at a time convenient for you. The team feels it is really important to touch base with you one more time and we hope you feel the same. Please be looking for the sign-up sheet and return it ASAP. Thanks for all you have done to support your kid(s) and the 8th grade team this year!!
