Due to the forecast of rain, tomorrow's MJHS SPORTS pictures will be moved up to in school hours from 11 AM - 12:30 PM. Please have your athlete bring their picture envelope and uniform to school with them tomorrow. If they don't have a uniform yet, don't worry, we will be giving some out during pictures tomorrow.

Reminder that SPORTS Picture day at MJHS will be on Thursday, September 9th at 4:30. Envelopes should be available at practices or games today. This is separate from school picture day. Thank you.

Just a reminder that this week's MJHS football game has been moved to today, Tuesday, September 7th at 4:30 vs. Camden at the MA field.

Friday dismissal time for all MJHS students is 1:30pm. I am so sorry that we've just discovered this inconsistency in communication at the last minute. If parents are at MJHS waiting, you may come to the office and we'll dismiss your student to you earlier.

The MJHS football team will practice on Monday, September 6th from 2:00-3:30. The football game originally scheduled for 4:30 on Wednesday, September 8 vs Camden has been moved to Tuesday, September 7th, 4:30 start.

MJHS picture day is almost here! All students will have their pictures taken for our yearbook starting at 8am on Wednesday, September 8th. The photographers are generally done in about an hour. If you need to be tardy or absent, we will be scheduling a picture retake day. If you'd like to purchase pictures, go to mylifetouch.com and use the picture date ID EVTJZMBDX. Picture forms will also be accepted that day and were sent home on the first day of school.

Just a friendly reminder that all students being dropped off or walking to school, should plan to arrive at 7:30 or later. We appreciate your willingness to work with us on this matter. Have a great day.

The State of Maine Department of Education recently issued an updated pre-screening tool for school attendance. Please contact our Health Aide, Jessica McKechnie (794-8935), or District Nurse, Jeri Davis (794-6711), with any specific questions or concerns.

Due to the heat, tomorrow's (Thursday, August 26th) MJHS girls soccer practice is going to be 8-10 AM.

Here are some changes to tomorrow's practice schedule for MJHS football and girls soccer, due to the extreme heat. Football is 8-11 AM with no afternoon session. Girls Soccer will practice 8-10AM with no afternoon practice.

FOOTBALL PRACTICE CHANGE: Due to the anticipated hot weather tomorrow, football practice will be an extended practice from 8-11 AM. No evening practice. Please bring plenty of water to stay well hydrated. Thanks Coach Mac
