Mrs. Cyr would like to share that her students have been working on the Rise STEM+C Life Science Pilot program through a NSF funded grant.  They had to incorporate computer science and an ecology unit that they've have been working on.  Students used quadrats along transects to gather data about abiotic and biotic factors.  They will then graph this data that they've collected and look for patterns.  Although they had to battle the swarms of black flies, the students still ventured through the lesson and gathered their information.
