Mattanawcook Jr. High School

The Sea Dogs, with the support of NEXTGEN 529, invited Mattanawcook Junior High School to participate in their Most Improved Student program to recognize our students who have worked hard to improve themselves in the classroom. It is important to note that this selection process is not based solely on academic achievement, factors such as development or improvement in behavioral and social aspects are also considered.

Congratulations to Laila Beesley-MacDonald, Jakob Blehm, Zachariah Bourgoine, Lydia Capone, Ava Chouinard, Jaxon Connors, Anahlee Crucetts, Grayson De La Cruz, Bryce Dicker, Michael Donahue, Samantha Donahue, Lacie Felix, Matthew Guiod, Skyler Harriman, Carter Hartford, Carter Hollifield, Austin Inzerma, Aaden Lane, Grant McIntyre, Sebashtin Michaud, Izabella Morin, Leland-Owen Page, Kamryn Rich, William Robertson, Mikayla Ross, Tyler Smith, Timothy Vachon, Caidence Waycott, and Jacon Wright.

Each of the NEXTGEN 529 Most Improved Students received a complimentary ticket to the Sea Dogs game on Saturday, May 28th at Hadlock Field in Portland. On the day of the game, students will be honored on the field in a special ceremony prior to that game (weather permitting) where each student’s name will appear on the center field message board.

Students were given their certificates and ticket (with details) in school today (April 15th) and asked to bring them home to a parent/guardian. Families may purchase tickets to attend the game by following the instructions on the ticket or contacting Mrs. Hainer at the school after vacation for a discounted group rate.
