Mattanawcook Jr. High School

Results from the Eastern Maine Math League fall meet are in, and we are proud to announce that many MJHS students ranked in the top 10 individually and/or as a team. The members of the math team compete in an individual round, a special round (which is a harder individual round) and a team round. MJHS competes as a "medium" school against schools like Ridgeview, Caravel, Wagner, and Holbrook.

In 6th grade, Ayden Gordon is currently in 1st place out of all the 6th grade students from all the schools! Michael Wortman, Vanessa Morse, and Brady Cox are in the top 10. The team of Michael Wortman, Ayden Gordon, Wyatt Keegan, and Jordis Ireland is in 3rd place!

In 7th grade, MJHS holds all top 3 spots! Colton Michaud is currently in 1st place, Logan Martinez is in 2nd, and True Weatherbee and Stephen Sweep are tied for 3rd . Kooper McCarthy and Carter Milner are in the top 10. The team of Carter Milner, Kooper McCarthy, Colton Michaud, and True Weatherbee is in 1st place. The team of Stephen Sweep, Logan Martinez, Evan Theriault, and Liam Walsh is in 2nd place. 

In 8th grade, Addison Cyr is in 3rd place and Juliana Cloukey is in the top 10.
