Mattanawcook Jr. High School

Additional results from the November Eastern Maine Math League fall meet are in, and many MJHS students made a great showing. The members of the math team compete in an individual round, a special round (which is a harder individual round) and a team round. MJHS competes against schools like Ridgeview, Caravel, Wagner, and Holbrook.

In 6th grade, Gus Mueller and Daxton Averill scored in the top 10. The team of Cash Albert, Kyler Nilsson, Daxton Averill, and Ethella Dill won second place.

In 7th grade, Grayson De La Cruz placed second and Mariner Fitch placed in the top 10. The team of Dustin Hanscom, Mariner Fitch, Grayson De La Cruz, and Brooke Trask placed 3rd .

In 8th grade Riley Munster placed 3rd . The team of William Robertson, Landon Tash, Sophia Sweep, and Riley Munster also placed 3rd .
