We hope you had a fun and safe summer!

School starts on Wednesday, August 28th. We are busy getting MJHS ready for students and staff. There have been some exciting updates at MJHS since June, such as new epoxy flooring in the cafeteria and bottom floor hallway, refinished hardwood flooring in the top floor hallway, heat pump installation in the top floor hallway, and a Gaga Ball pit on the playground. We are also excited about adjustments to the 7th and 8th grade schedule that will give more time for learning and add a technology exploratory class. New staff have been hired and some staff have transferred to new positions, including the following teachers:

Andrea Roberts, 4th grade math and science

Danielle Smith, 5th grade ELA and social studies

Patrice Turner, 7th grade ELA

Vanessa Diaz, 8th grade social studies

Dylan Morin, 8th grade ELA

Matt Brown, Special Education Life Skills Teacher

Students will receive their schedules, teacher information, and families will receive the start of school paperwork at our open house on Monday, August 26th, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. We hope you can join us! If you can't attend, please call MJHS at 794-8935 on Tuesday, August 27th, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm for your student’s schedule.
