Mattanawcook Jr. High School

The MJHS math team competed in the Eastern Maine Math League winter math meet on February 8th. There were approximately 130 students who participated. Top scorers for MJHS based on their individual and special round scores were:

Grade 5/6

William Robertson, Ezekiel York, Jacob Wright, Tanner Worster, Dustin Hanscom, Sophia Sweep, Brooke Trask, and Sophia Good

Grade 7

Ayden Gordon, Michael Wortman, Xandir Springer, Vanessa Morse, and Bella Kronholm

Grade 8

Colton Michaud, Kooper McCarthy, Stephen Sweep, Logan Martinez, and Carter Milner

The MJHS math team was in second place going into the winter meet. We are anxiously awaiting the league results to see where we stand. We'd like to extend a big thank you to all participants, helpers, and coaches!
