Just a reminder that the Spring Sports Parent Information Meeting is tonight at 6:00 in the MA Gym. The meeting is for parents of anyone interested in playing tennis, track and field, softball or baseball this spring.
The PVC Joe Paul Scholarship luncheon on Wednesday, March 15th has been postponed due to the incoming storm. The four award recipients from MA are Isaac Hainer, Solomon Susen, Hadassah Leighton and Chloe Wotton. The luncheon will not be made up, but those four student-athletes, along with other student-athletes from PVC schools are still eligible to win a scholarship from the PVC at a drawing in April.
This is just a reminder that the MA spring sports parent information meeting is this Thursday, March 16th at 6:00 in the MA gym. This meeting is for parents of any athletes participating in Tennis, Track and Field, Baseball or Softball. There will be an informational meeting with the AD and a chance to meet your kids' coach.

Due to some MPA State Championship games getting moved to early next week, the PVC Class C/D Senior All Star basketball games have been moved from Monday, March 6th. The games will now be played on Wednesday, March 8th at 5:00 (girls) and 7:00 (boys) at Mattanawcook Academy. There will be an awards ceremony in between games.

Saturday's Class B State Wrestling Tournament at Mattanawcook Academy is a MPA sponsored event. The admission prices will be $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students.
Mattanawcook Academy will be hosting the Class B Wrestling State Championships this Saturday, February 18th. The doors open to the public at 9:00 and matches start at 10:00 am.

The MA Girls Basketball team will host Stearns tomorrow, February 14th at 6:00 for their preliminary round playoff game.
The MA Senior basketball games are tonight vs Sumner. We will honor the boys seniors and pep band seniors five minutes prior to the start of the boys game at 5:00. We will honor the girls seniors and cheer seniors five minutes prior to the start of the girls game at approximately 6:20. Senior parents please arrive early to be ready for the recognition ceremony.
