Congratulations to Isaac Hainer on his LTC player of the week award for week 1. In the game vs. Morse, Isaac had 268 yards rushing, 5 TD's, 2 PAT's, and he was 5 of 8 passing for 140 yards and 1 TD. He also contributed 12 tackles on defense. #GoLynx!!

Due to tomorrow's forecast of rain there has been a slight change to the sports pictures schedule for tomorrow 9/9. We will start the pictures in the gym around 1:00 and wrap up around 3:00. Some teams will have their pictures taken before the end of school, so all athletes should bring their picture envelope and their uniform to school with them tomorrow.
Just a reminder that sports picture day at MA will be this Thursday 9/9 right after school. If you haven't received a picture envelope yet your coach will have copies today.
This Saturday's (9/11) field hockey game at PCHS will start at 11:00 instead of 11:30 and the bus will leave at 8:30 AM.

Lucas Turner Appointed Assistant Principal of Mattanawcook Academy
R.S.U. No. 67 is pleased to announce that Mr. Lucas Turner has been appointed as Assistant Principal of Mattanawcook Academy. Mr. Turner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Southern Maine. Currently, he is enrolled in a Masters Degree Program in School Administration at St. Joseph's College.
Mr. Turner began his career in education as an Educational Technician at Gray-New Gloucester High School and Lewiston High School. He then taught Social Studies at Monmouth Academy. For the past six years he has been a Social Studies teacher and Teacher Leader at Mattanawcook Academy. Mr. Turner's administrative experience includes Athletic Director at Monmouth Academy and Academic Administrator at Opportunity Farm for Boys and Girls.
Today's golf match vs. PVHS and Houlton has been postponed and will be made up tomorrow at 2:30 at JATO. There will be no golf practice today. Other practices are on as scheduled.
