Mattanawcook Academy

Dear Staff, Parents, and Community Members:

I am following up on the communication from last evening regarding a positive COVID-19 case at Mattanawcook Academy. Due to the number of individuals in quarantine and the lack of substitutes, all students at Mattanawcook Academy will have remote instruction March 15-March 19. Region lll students who are not required to quarantine may attend their programming in-person next week. Ella P. Burr School and Mattanawcook Jr. High School students will continue with in-person instruction. We continue to ask all families and staff to monitor students for any symptoms. All individuals should contact a health care provider if they develop symptoms.

As always, please contact MA if you have any questions or concerns 794-6711. I've attached the remote/red schedule just as a reminder for students. Also, while we are in the "Red" model - students will not be required to Zoom in to study halls or lunch/advisory.
