MA Science teachers have found ways to do labs during a hybrid schedule. Students did a STEM Lab where they had to figure out how to collect dissolved carbon dioxide gas from a soda can using beakers, clay, rubber tubing, water, etc. The soda can represented a volcano. They are
in the middle of a Plate Tectonics Unit. Face to face students were paired with a remote student via Zoom and breakout rooms. They propped student laptops up on top of drywall buckets so the remote students could get a birds eye view of the setup.
