The Maine Department of Education invites you to participate in the Read to ME Challenge.  To accept the challenge, read for just 15 minutes with a child, post a picture on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram (#ReadtoME or #ReadaloudME), and challenge others to participate in the Read to ME Challenge.  Reading with a child of any age, builds their vocabulary, strengthens bonds, and stimulates brain development…and it’s fun.  Choose any type of text – picture books, novels, technical manuals, sheet music, etc..
