R.S.U. No. 67 is pleased to announce that Mr. Lucas Turner has been appointed as Assistant Principal of Mattanawcook Academy. Mr. Turner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Southern Maine. Currently, he is enrolled in a Master's Degree Program in School Administration at St. Joseph's College.
Mr. Turner began his career in education as an Educational Technician at Gray-New Gloucester High School and Lewiston High School. He then taught Social Studies at Monmouth Academy. For the past six years, he has been a Social Studies teacher and Teacher Leader at Mattanawcook Academy. Mr. Turner's administrative experience includes Athletic Director at Monmouth Academy and Academic Administrator at Opportunity Farm for Boys and Girls.
