2024-2025 School Year

Special Education Technician I & II.  The successful candidate must hold a current State of Maine Education Technician I certification. 

Special Education Teacher at Ella P. Burr – The successful candidate must hold a current or be eligible for a State of Maine Department of Education Special Education Teacher endorsement (282) or (286).

Administrative Assistant to the Director of Special Services.  The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for a State of Maine CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) certification. 

English Grade 8 at Mattanawcook Jr. High School.  The successful candidate must hold a current or be eligible for a State of Maine Teacher certification (100).

Long-term Kindergarten Substitute Teacher – The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for a State of Maine CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) certification.  A State of Maine Teacher endorsement is preferred but not required.  This position will run from August 28, 2024, until September 30, 2024.

Tutor at Mattanawcook Jr. High School.  The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for a CHRC through the Maine Department of Education.  A Teacher certification (020) is preferred but not required.  Up to 25 hours per week, pay is based on certification and experience.

English Teacher at Mattanawcook Academy.  The successful candidate must hold a current or be eligible for a State of Maine Teacher certification (100).

Alternative Education Teacher at Mattanawcook Academy.  The successful candidate must hold a current or be eligible for a State of Maine Teacher Grade 6-12 certification.

Pre-K Teacher (1) at Ella P. Burr Elementary School.  The successful candidate must hold a current or be eligible for a State of Maine Teacher certification (029).

Pre-K Education Technician II at Ella P. Burr Elementary School.  The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for an Education Technician II certification through the Maine Department of Education and be a member of the Maine Roads to Quality registry. 

Speech Pathologist – District-wide for the 2024-2025 school year.  The successful candidate must hold a current State of Maine Speech Pathologist License and hold a current or be eligible for a State of Maine CHRC (Criminal History Record Check).

Bus Driver and Van Drivers – The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for a CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) through the Maine Department of Education and hold or be eligible for a State of Maine school bus license.

Substitute (Van Drivers, Bus Drivers, Teachers, Education Technicians, Kitchen, Custodian) – The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for a CHRC through the Maine Department of Education.
