Sarah Hainer Appointed Principal of Mattanawcook Jr. High School

R.S.U. No. 67 is pleased to announce that Ms. Sarah Hainer has been appointed as Principal of Mattanawcook Jr. High School beginning July 1, 2021.  Ms. Hainer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Maine.

Ms. Hainer began her career in education as a Science teacher at Mattanawcook Academy.  She then worked as the Student Services Coordinator at Northern Penobscot Tech Region lll.  Ms. Hainer was the Assistant Principal at Mattanawcook Jr. High starting in 2013.  She has served as the Interim Principal of Mattanawcook Jr. High School since December 2020.
